Blouwyn

Sonia poerstamper, a struggling actress, feels the need to break away from her family home and start afresh and she decides to impersonate her twin sister as the pastor in a small West Coast community.

As always, she persuades her fellow thespian, Lukas Winterbach to join her madcap adventure. Sonia soon becomes involved in the relationships of others, either as a spectator or as a player as she meets a poet and a vineyard owner and her veil starts to slip.

At home her father, Anthonie, also a pastor, struggles to deal with his wife’s double mastectomy and the lack of communication between them because of the rift which breast cancer has created.

But when the lives of 6 people of various ages intersect and tragedy strikes, it challenges her traditional thoughts and understanding of love, intimacy and the Until Death Do Us Part outlook.
